Are there lists of research-based interventions for secondary and tertiary levels of both RTI and Positive Behavior Support (PBS)?

Jay T. Engeln

Jay Engeln has 28 years of experience in education and was honored as the 2000 National Secondary School Principal of the Year.  Other honors include: the U.S. West Outstanding Teacher Award, Kappa Delta Pi Award for Contributions to Education, and recipient of an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Colorado College. Engeln was a featured speaker at the White House Conference on Teenagers and provided testimony for a Congressional hearing on the benefits of school/business partnerships.  He recently served as a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine Committee on School Food Nutrition.

Engeln currently serves as the National Association of Secondary School Principals liaison on topics related to Special Education, school reform initiatives, school/business partnerships and health/wellness policy implementation.  He is an advisor for the Council for Corporate and School Partnerships and serves as member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Business Education Network.  Engeln is a trainer for both "Breaking Ranks II: Strategies for Leading High School Reform" and "Breaking Ranks In the Middle: Strategies for Leading Middle Level Reform." 

He also is a member of the NASSP IDEA Task Force, the El Pomar Youth Sports Foundation Board of Directors and chairman of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Foundation.  Engeln is a faculty member of the  University of Colorado.
