 Scott Baker

Scott K. Baker, Ph.D., is the Associate Director of the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon and the Director of Pacific Institutes for Research in Eugene, Oregon. Dr. Baker is the also the Director of the Oregon Reading First Center. Dr. Baker's research interests focus on early literacy and mathematics, and the education needs of students with learning difficulties and English learners. He is the Principal Investigator on a number of IES research grants to develop and test effective instructional approaches in early reading and mathematics.
