On Thursday, March 17^th, two excellent speakers—Matthew Wicks and Ryan Imbriale—presented a stimulating “out of the box” discussion of digital learning and virtual schools. Their presentation materials are available below.

Presentation 1: Matthew Wicks

Matthew Wicks is currently Vice President for the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) and has been involved with K-12 online learning for over a decade. Download his PowerPoint presentation, A National Perspective on K-12 Online Learning, which describes the growth of online learning and offers predictions for future adoption.

Presentation 2: Ryan Imbriale

Ryan Imbriale is the Principal of Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts in Baltimore and has a long history as an e-learning expert. Watch his Prezi presentation, Putting Virtual Education into Practice, to see how they’ve adopted e-learning at Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts.
