Cathy Lines

Cathy Lines, Ph.D., is the former Mental Health and RtI Co-Coordinator for the Cherry Creek School District in Greenwood Village, Colorado. While working in these roles, Cathy helped initiate the district’s RtI framework, which included "parent-school partnership" as a key element. Since retiring from the school district, Cathy has been working with the Colorado Department of Education in developing and implementing the family and community partnering component of the state’s RtI model. She also is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver in the Child, Family, and School Psychology Program, where her primary teaching responsibilities include counseling and family-school partnering courses for graduate students. Cathy was a member of the Future of School Psychology Task Force on Family-School Partnerships and has just co-authored a book, The Power of Family-School Partnering (FSP): A Practical Guide for School Mental Health Professionals and Educators, published by Routledge in 2010.
